Yeah that suspension video really makes Skinner look really bad on the play, no on ice awareness at all, like 0. I might even dislike him more after watching that video. I bet the team does.

The lack of legitimate replays of that incident might have worked in Reaves favour. All the replays Sportsnet was showing last night were close up shots. I only saw 1 shown (and it was after the game) that showed a wide angle and showed where Reaves was on the ice when he started charging towards Nurse. He took a 40 foot run at him and that IMO showed a deliberate attempt to injure. The close up of the head shot is bad enough but the full replay was much worse. With all these questionable decisions you can’t help but wonder how much effort the league puts in to get things right.
