I grew up in household of Montreal fans, it's contagious and has always been a thing with their teams and fans. Probably why I hate them so much now :laugh:
 
Voronkov, KJ, Marchy and Dentony all with good games. Thats a great core. We need Brindley up here to get Fantilli going and that's a solid young top 6. Chinny coming back would also makes things much better. Mateychuk already looks like he can play 20+ a night and be better than almost everyone except Z.
 
The top line was incredible tonight. While this line lacks an elite goal scorer, it’s a solid combination that plays well together. I continue to be impressed with Voronkov. Great hands, vision and hockey IQ. He rarely makes a mistake or the wrong play on offense, more often making a smart pass - even the little ones that don’t stand out but are usually the right play.

He's very underrated, a type of player every team wants but only few have.

I knew this about Voronkov, I wrote it, but even in Russia they didn't believe me. Hmm, so maybe now they do... 😼

Probably a year off for some of this but tonight's forward group +Chinakhov/Jenner/Brindley has some real potential

Here's an illustration of what chemistry does. No need for an elite shooter. This line has great forechecking, transition to offense, the players are smart, strong, have very good hockey IQ, skill. That's absolutely enough. Just don't let Evason invent supercombinations again. 😉

Jiříček should reflect on his approach. Mateychuk played great, if there is fairness, he should play him and not Severson in the top 4.
 
I'd like to see some post game Laine quotes, that would be pretty fun. I don't know what would be more fitting though, if Laine actually misses time further showing how injury prone he is or he's back right away leading to questions of if he just quit on his team and the game
