It was obviously going to be a good expierence for the young player in a hostile environment.

Cutter was fine, played a bit timid…. But again if he retaliated at all…. Would have been open season on him for flyers fans…. And the cringe flyer players woulda used it as reason to actually go after him(again for nothing)

Flyers played ducks in Anaheim 2 weeks ago and hardly looked at gauthier…. It was all a show for the fans… TK didn’t really want to fight gauthier we all know that. Cutter just looking at them like what losers.

Did this situation (Cutter not signing) have anything to do with Torts? Not being a smartass, genuinely don't know.

Only from a POV that Torts is a HC that makes a young player earn their spot. Nothing is guaranteed. So, if he wasn't good enough for the Flyers roster in Torts opinion, he'd tell the GM to send the kid down to the Phantoms.

Don’t think any duck fans are disappointed in cutters play this year.

He’s a rookie, on an offensively challenged team, still top 5 scoring on the team with much less mins than the other guys.

Cutter used a loop hole that’s in the CBA where he can go anywhere. He isn’t the first or last. At least he was upfront with Philly he won’t sign there. Others in the past just left. I get Philly fans didn’t like it, but that was overboard IMO. I’d be more curious as a Flyers fan why the team can’t be that motivated regularly.
