I'm just upset at the really bad lapses. Gravel is bombing and Clifford is skating into goalies. I agree I don't think we had a bad first, I don't think Vegas had a good first either.

We tend to chuckle when teams at the deadline acquire depth defensemen for virtually nothing but when it comes playoff time, sometimes those guys are forced to step in and contribute, see Joe Morrow for the Jets. Would have been nice just to grab another spare guy like me that at the deadline.

You can never have enough depth on the backend. We are stretched right now.

Bad call on cliffy. DMan had a stick between his legs and used that to push him in.
Bad bounce off the boards.
Kings defensemen let one in of a big bounce.
Other than that kings would have survived the first period.
If Vegas continues to play like this the series should shift the Kings way.
Puck luck has a way of evening out.

I agree that the Kings are definitely in this series and haven't looked too bad today but if they lost today it's still a 2-0 hole. Winning 4 out of 5 against the same team is going to be a real challenge.

We'll see though if the Kings can pull this one out.
