We need an eccentric billionaire who doesn't care about losing money and likes wrestling to buy TNA and pour lots of cash into it and steal guys away from the WWE.

Come back Billionaire Ted, come back!

So.....uhhh....somebody stabbed Jamie Noble a couple of times in a trailer park. He's currently in hospital.

(Apologies if posted. On my phone and I didn't see it)

Well, yeah, basically, if TNA is to surive, they need a dude with ******** of money to burn and a willingness to lose millions on dollars while they re-ignite the brand (if that is even possible at this point).

If Vince gets it then it is dead and he takes the tape library and a few contracts.

Billy is the best bet for them right now. The biggest problem is the amount of debt they still have and the fact Billy doesn't have a ton of money himself.

Certainly everyone in TNA is blaming her, but of course they would, she's a lame duck. She's clearly to blame for the fall, but the sale not happening yet? I dunno, feel like the guys trying to buy it dont have the money, so thats on them

Well she needs to be bought out and there are ways for her to muck things up. Maybe her value of the company is absurd and not based in reality, or more likely she still wants to stay involved some while the buyer wants her gone.

Not sure whether to put this in the podcast thread or here, but I'm putting it here because it'll get more traffic (even though it'll get buried by TNA news anyway).

Apparently, NXT asked the New Age Insiders guys to do some promo work with Oney Lorcan (NAI do a lot of work with Chaotic Wrestling, an indy promotion in Boston). Part of this involved a lunch with the 3 NAI guys, Lorcan, and William Regal. They didn't record the conversation, but they reported that Regal said the following things:

-If WWE asked him to go into the Hall of Fame he would say no because he feels like he doesn't deserve it, and there are guys more deserving that should go in ahead of him (The British Bulldogs, specifically). If WWE forced him, he would begrudgingly accept.

-He believes the only accurate way to measure the quality of a wrestler is by how much money they draw. Nothing else. In this way, Regal sees himself as not a very good performer because he didn't draw as much as his contemporaries.

-He says that the company is EXTREMELY high on Cesaro, and the only reason he hasn't had a title run is purely politics. Every single person in the back has confidence in him as a performer and a personality. He speaks so many languages and comes off as very professional, so they see him being more valuable as a brand ambassador and liaison for the company.

-Apparently, Cesaro is one of the "panic buttons" the company has and that's the reason he's on Raw - in a pinch they know they can throw the title on him, and both the crowd and the company will be happy with it.

-He also talked about the "real world" implications of Nakamura coming up to the main roster. People forget he just uprooted his family and moved them halfway across the world. He has a wife and two kids, none of them speak English except for him, and this has been a difficult adjustment for them. So don't expect him up soon because he still needs time to get his family situated in this new country.

I guess they have more from this conversation they're going to be releasing next week. Full episode here: http://newageinsiders.podomatic.com/entry/2016-09-28T19_33_17-07_00

I didn't realize Nakamura had a family. Given his rockstar status in Japan i figured he was just single lol. Makes a lot of sense they have no plans to bring him up then.

t-minus 40 minutes until the business week is over in Nashville. Will TNA be deleted?

So I'm guessing no Bound for Glory?

Edit: Dixie tweeting it is happening and big things are planned for the next tapings.

No word on a sale or who is funding it.

Observer and insider saying the crew is in Orlando as if all is a go.

Edit 2: Lashley told ESPN he is confident it will happen at that Dixie isn't broke and has lots of money....sure....

So I guess we can deduct that there will be a Bound for Glory and a set of tapings. No one knows how that is being done, but few knew that before the last few sets.

Sounds like whatever they're planning is gonna be announced on sunday.

Given how anti-climatic TNA has been in the past with announcements, i'm just going to assume WWE won the bid.
