The match placement made no sense. I understand wanting to have the women main event, but Owens-Rollins being the 4th match of the night and going before the CWC and Tag Titles was pathetic

A big reason it fell short was the finish. That was a huge payout that would have made it worth it. WWE is only about the moment, exponentially more than having good matches, and that a huge one they left on the table and in all likelihood won't ever have it again. If Sasha went over and the crowds goes nuts, that would have elevated the entire match.

The fact that Vince is the only one who knew it was changing tells me the the biggest reason it was done was to feed his ego.

Vince also probably thinks that Sasha is too small to be the champion. The booking since the beginning of the women's revolution has been pretty clear: Charlotte is Vince's pick.

Yeah but it's not that she's too small. Vince loved 5'2" AJ Lee. Sasha's always injured, not a good promo (as a babyface)...he probably sees her as unreliable more than anything else.

It's a fair criticism to hold really. Being durable is something he highly values due to the workload and everything. Barrett had the same problem, he was a great promo, great look, but bad luck with injuries really hurt his chance to be champion (and he would have been awesome).

She was supposed to have a long title reign before dropping the belt at Summerslam, which was going to be her big PPV win. Sasha's been at the front of essentially all of their marketing as well

I'm not sure it's any of that. Why would they give her the belt the second time? She's been getting over with the live crowds, and with kids. And they didn't decide at 4pm on Sunday that she's too injury prone, because this is twice they changed the finish right before giving her a big moment.

Meltzer said Reigns was hurt for a month after his match with Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

Originally her first reign was cut short because of her injury. This time the only thing we know is that they wanted to move up the Charlotte vs. Bayley angle. They'll also probably have Charlotte's first PPV singles loss be at Wrestlemania or something. It's not like it's new news where Vince wasn't all-in with Sasha because of her injury problems, though. The same thing came out during the summer that he thinks she's too injury-prone because of her style.

They all wanted him to get it, I'd be pissed too because they're back at square one. Dixie's gonna keep her job too

If it's true that they're not getting paid, I really don't understand why they're sticking around.

Because they will get paid. I keep saying this. TNA gives them good money for little work, if you work there it's a good deal.

But this time they couldn't get paid as the people who would be paying them were locked out by the injunction. Now that that is lifted money can be put into the company again.

Hasn't getting paid been an issue there for a long time now? I know they eventually get paid, but what kind of business model is that??
