Interesting slate of games. Buffalo and Detroit are basically must wins. Would be nice to win one in Carolina or New Jersey, but I'd settle for just being competitive against them on the road.

Here's to hoping Wedgewood goes on a tear. I bet the guys are eager to play in front of anyone other than Gerogiev. Even if Georgiev is playing well, the specter of him suddenly giving up a bad goal must weigh on everyone in front of him, which probably affects performance. We'll call it performance anxiety.

It's seriously insane. All we need is .890 goaltending and we'd be comfortably in a playoff spot. And yet it's just too much to ask for in this life. What is the world coming to?
