Yep. Jesse is not a hockey fan following the Avs, he's a dude doing a job. He'd probably be happy to cover anything, whether it's hockey or anything else.

We have so little quality coverage for this team that I'm just happy that someone is providing us Bednar presser videos and locker room interviews TBH.

Wherever Landy returns, with the ’C’ , I wonder if he’s going to feel compelled to scrum with a few guys up when it gets dirty ( it is Benn and Dallas…), so not sure if I want that pressure in front of Dallas or our own crowd first. I used to be very happy to have his presence out there for just such occasions so now I’m still a bit nervous. Keep that knee on a leash.

He's still one of the very, very few that bothers to actually attend games and pressers. Meghan as well. Pretty much just Guerilla and TMV's outlet that do so and sadly TMV doesn't produce any video content. Then we're left with glorified fan pods like DNVR and Locked On.

I generally agree with that - if the warrior spends 3 years making a come back - I guess I’d hope he would not get nhl-injury first nhl-game back - in Dallas no less. But, he’s a big boy so he will do what he feels he is ready to do.

He was just kind of annoying and whiny before. Now he's straight wrong about facts, or over reacts often.

Notice I don't slam Guerilla sports, just Jesse's gafs. I'm actually appreciative of their production value, straight forward content, and timeliness.

I mean, I don’t really care whether they are legit media outlets, newspapers, or glorified podcasts. Other than TMV and Eric Lacroix, they all absolutely stink at analyzing the actual game.

I don’t listen to Jesse, Meghan, Rudo, AJ, etc. for their “hockey knowledge.”

I just want people to attend practice, report on what they see, record Bednar and the players talking after practice and games.

In this regard, Brennan Vogt is very good. Accurate with what he reports, doesn’t pretend to be some analyst, and timely in his updates.

Him being skilled, and intelligent, but willing to get dirty is what makes him the identity of this team, and why they follow him.

To be honest after all of the years, all of the interviews, and everything. I trust his judgment as much as Sakic's.

No arguments there, though I think you're selling Meghan short. Sure she's still fairly green and, setting the eye candy aside, I usually enjoy what she has to say. But they do put the work in to actually cover the team, so, respect. Arif has his moments too, but that guy's media production is few and far between. I really want to like Eric as a media guy more than I do, but, MAN...him and Rudo can be an absolutely brutal listen most of the time. Rudo consistently brings nothing as a host and Eric usually just talks circles around himself. Drives me nuts. Brennan is a definitely a good follow if you're looking for facts over analysis.

I find it impossible to believe that the three extra days would make one whit of difference in Landy's recovery being successful or not.

I suspect more than anything, Landy's conditioning and ability to go 15-20+ minutes a night will be more of a factor than his knee.

My only knock on Meghan is she needs to learn to project her voice more. When she was with DNVR everyone talked over her, even with Guerrilla Sports I still finding myself having to up the volume to hear her speak then turn it back down when Jesse speaks. Same issue when he’s interviewing players/Bednar.

I think she’s the best media person we have, she just needs to speak more confidently

Yeah the content is there but the delivery is off.

Complete opposite of Eric Lacroix who's a very good speaker, capable of talking at length without actually saying anything.

We are all talking about whether Landeskog starts game 1 or game 3, but I wonder what are the chances they might bring him in game 2. Since everyone is available, maybe they start the regulars game 1, see how it goes and what is and isn't working.
