Yes, and no. It is a predetermined, choreographed art form. No, they don't punch and kick each other (not on purpose), but when someone gets body slammed or power bombed, they get body slammed or power bombed. They are just taught how to take it, so they take the least amount of damage to themselves that they can. And when they hit a guy over the head with a chair, or drive a guy thru a table, they hit a guy over the head with a chair and drive him thru a table.

Noticed that in the Eagles' practice/games, and in this clip, he pretty much falls wherever he takes contact right now. The only way that improves is with more practice time with contact and with actual PT in games. Gonna take time. Played two games in 3 years.

To be honest, seeing him go with the top 2 lines where the 2nd line was shit + no Landeskog on the 3rd line... kind of takes the wind out of the sails a bit. Bummer.

I don't know if that's certain yet. Maybe Bednar wants to see Gabe in another practice before penciling him into the 3rd line/2nd PP.

Also could be playing coy with his lineup. He likes to keep his cards close to his vest during the playoffs.

So far, Nelson has shown he needs a winger to skate with the puck like Necas though. Drouin's a give and go guy, it's different. Necas driving the play, gets the opposition focused on him, and opens up ice for Nelson to just be a sniper. Hope he reconsiders that.

Landy will slip him a few large bills to score an own goal while he and Nate are on the ice with him.

I’m excited to see what line he is on. We all assume 3rd but never know with Bednar and his top guys.

I have a feeling he's penciled in for the third. Landy-Coyle-Colton could just be a giant pain in some teams ass, no doubt about it.

I doubt it'll happen on the road necessarily, but I can't help but believe that Gabe is on the ice for the opening faceoff at home. Wether it be as his line being out there or just him subbing in on the top lin for the first shift. But it would be a really, really wierd thing for Bednar to start Gabe's first game back at home, without him getting ackowledged and being out there for the opening faceoff.

I want Necas next to MacKinnon. That's when both Necas and the team have looked their best. Necas isn't going to elevate the second line and all it's going to do is make him less productive and effective.

I think Val and Nelson have been pretty good together so I don't have an issue with them being paired.

The issue is at the other wing spot where neither Lehkonen nor Drouin have clicked with Nelson. It doesn't help that Lehkonen has been snake bit and just straight up bad for quite some time now.
