It’s just a matter of time before the Avs lay an egg. Hope it’s not against Montreal tonight though. The AVS have a couple of games that matter less against Florida and Chicago coming up.

It’s possible, they had a very emotional comeback Thursday. My guess is they might drop the Chicago game with Miner in net.

I mean the Avs kinda laid an egg against Buffalo before Wedgewood was injured no?

And when it happens most people here will step to the ledge and ask for Bednar to be fired when we have the best record in the NHL since our 2-7 start.

Some of us are old enough to remember that "Sabers" used to be autocorrected by the filter because the head admin was a Buffalo fan. Then Star Wars got rebooted and they had to take it off because people were talking about Lightsabers and it kept getting corrected to LightSabres.

Spell it "Sabers" until the end of time. And don't indulge the French either while you're at it.

It’s also Canadiens, not Canadians.

Pretty sure @sethro109 did it on purpose. At least, I hope so.

I blame autocorrect.

Yeah, I'm not sure we were ever ahead of Dallas in points per game though. Fan of points per game because it at least attempts to account for games in hand.
Exactly, some got caught looking only at pts. We never were ahead of DAL on pts%.

Until proven otherwise this is just a oft injured wild card team.

I actually like Moneypucks Points Above Point Per Game Pace graph and check it out along with the standings. Yeah we've never been above the Stars really but clearly above Utah and St.Louis.

I do believe though that at least the #2 spot can be ours when the regular season is done. I bet the Wild will come down and Dallas is not that far away. In-division games against these very teams will of course be vital.
