Key takeaways for me:

- Was asked about Colton and how he had stated when he came back that the plan was to eventually get him back on the top line. “Yeah, well, depends how he plays, right?” Doesn’t sound like he’s been too happy with Colton’s all around game since returning from injury.

- Says Manson is close and likely to get back in the lineup next game against Utah, but not back tonight. Drouin getting better each day but still not ready to return. Rest of the guys are all long-term.

- Team is pretty much over the flu bug, a couple of lingering things but mostly all healthy.

wth happened to Kylington? He was suppose to be day-to-day almost 4 weeks ago, and no word on him anywhere.

I just watched Bednar morning skate interview and wow he actually giving kudos to our two goalers multiple of times. What if we wound up with having 2 goalers that are 1st goalers. Wedgewood seems to be playing like 1st goalie too? Big guys with a good attitudes and most importantly likeable in the locker room and I honestly would not be surprised that our team would go on like a ten game winning streak or something like that sometimes soon.

We let our kids open up a present on Christmas eve (Christmas themed jammies)

Trying to decide if I want to go the the game in SLC. We'll see what the roads are like.

We give each other pretty much same amount of money and call it a Christmas present. Weirdly enough we talk about why even do that, and that we shouldn’t anymore, yet we do it every single year

My mother in law and I share the same birthday. We just don't get gifts for each other. Easier that way lol

My mom’s birthday is Christmas Eve so she gets to double dip on gifts. Birthday presents on the 24th and Christmas presents on the 25th.

I remember once when I was a teenager, I spent a good amount on a gift and just gave her the one and not two separate gifts. She practically kicked my ass for that so I’ve never made the same mistake again.

Because we keep arguing about where Sundays fall in the week I will give 1/2W for last week and 1/2W for this week or is it 1/2W for this week and 1/2W for next week? Hmmmm?

Now we can start arguing about that. I guess.......

Ya my old mans birthday is on the 29th so he gets to double dip as well pretty much.

But I kind of cheated this year, he's a Flames fan so I "bought him" tickets to the Avs/Flames game in Calgary in March. Technically they're gonna be his tickets but if I'm not his +1 to that game we're gonna have a fight.
