Pre-Game Talk: Week of Home Cookin' (Tue vs. DET, Thu vs. LAK, Sat vs. STL)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

There's a very good possibility that the top three teams from the Central all have more points than the Pacific winner.
It doesn't end there. The Central top 3 could finish with more points than any team in the league minus Washington.

What a joke that the Central teams have to battle each other in rounds 1 and 2 while lesser teams get an easier ride.

The offense has been great. I wonder how the team is doing on shot suppression. Kinda hard to believe this is the team we have now compared to earlier this season.

I'm surprised we are skating at all today, but an optional practice is better than nothing.

Gameday skate yesterday. Game last night. Optional practice today. Gameday skate tomorrow. Game tomorrow night.

All the big guns with the day off.

MacKinnon, Makar, Toews, Necas, Lehkonen, Drouin, Nichushkin, Nelson, Coyle, Lindgren taking the day off.

Also no Kiviranta(injured).

Something of note, Avs regular season ends on Sunday April 13. The playoffs likely start on Saturday the 19th, giving them pretty much an entire week of rest. Dallas plays on Wednesday, so my guess is the Avs - Stars is scheduled for opening night or one of the first couple of days.

Noteworthly for me as I'm planning to pass through Dallas to catch a game at that time, so I'm not so upset if they grab home ice.

Bednar can start prepping for the playoffs and getting the matchups locked in.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him starting some games with the 4th line on the ice to control the other teams rotations. He has a second line to play with again and it's going to be fun.
