After a trio of wins on the road against the Flyers, Caps, and Panthers...the Avs will go back and forth between the road and the Sack for Thanksgiving week.

We kick off the true beginning day of the week (Monday) in Tampa for a tilt with the Bolts to go for a road trip sweep before heading home to take on Vegas for what hopefully turns out to be a pre-Thanksgiving feast. After stuffing their faces for Thanksgiving, the Avs will take a trip to Dallas to shop for 2 points on Black Friday. From there, the Avs get back to Denver to take on The Oilers in a late night game Saturday.

The Avs will have a rest on the final day of the week, Sunday, to enjoy some leftovers.

In lieu of typing out 50,000 options for a poll, just post an answer to the question

What are you thankful for this year? Doesn't have to be Avs related

I'm thankful that the Avs have kept themselves in the playoff race despite starting the year missing so many players.

Georgiev has won his last 5 starts with a combined .905 SV%.

The danger with Georgiev putting up wins now is that Bednar and the front office might go into "we only need him to..." mode and think they don't need to do anything about goaltending.

This isn't the 2022 Avs that can win the cup with poor goaltending.

Geesh, there's a lot to be thankful already in this thread. Forsberg's coming to town, Cogs

The Avs need to be kind of careful with Cogs. He's got the potential to do great things and I think he will. It would be nice for him to continue doing those things for the Avs. Need to make sure he's staying challenged and happy and has a clear role and maybe more importantly a path forward within the organization rather than having to leave for a step up.

While he’s enjoying the hockey side of the new role and it’s keeping his drive to be close to the ice alive, he 100% wants to evolve on the business side of the game. He’s trying to learn as much as possible about that. I’d expect him to be an Assistant GM in 3-4 years time.
