The way Mittlestadt is playing is no different then Johanson last year. Comically sad at this point. Soft perimeter playmaker who is not engaging at all. At least Johanson was half decent at faceoffs. Cmac is in awful spot, I really hope he find a way to cut loose before it's too late.

Malinski’s big return game.

You showed ‘em, kid.

Down goes Ivan again, back up is C-Wags.

Wagner goes on the road trip. Likely 4RW with Innala and Parssinen.

The right formula for these AHL callups is in there somewhere, just need to blend them enough to find it.

How the f*** does Innala keeps staying in the lineup? I can't think of a more useless player. Polin and Ivan are better by a fair margin. I hate how Bednar always finds the most useless players to make his boys.

Bednar said after the game that he like how he played.

I'd rather Ivan and Polin go back to the Eagles and actually play, than stay with the Avs and get 4 - 6 meaningless minutes a night. Let Wags and Innala have those. Wood is likely gonna be activated in the next week as well.

That Miles Wood contract is going to age like milk.

Edit: That Miles Wood contract is already spoiled milk at this point.

It’s not like Wood is gonna come back and fix the issues this team has. This roster needs a real shake up. Wood’s not the answer

They basically went .500 on the homestand and got three out of a possible six points against the three teams ahead of them in the standings these last three games. The definition of average.

At least we won't need to worry about trading Wood to get out of that contract. I don't think he'll play beyond 25/26.

Yeah, Wood probably has a season or two left before it’s time to float away to Robidas Island.
