After going 2-1 this past week with wins over NYR and DAL to go with a disappointing loss to EDM, we get back to work this week with 4 games. Two games at home to close out the homestand and then on the road for a short 3 game trip.

3 of our 4 games this week will be morning/afternoon games:

  • Monday vs. Minnesota Wild - 1:00 PM MST
  • Wednesday vs. Winnipeg Jets - 7:30 PM MST
  • Saturday @ Boston Bruins - 11:00 AM MST
  • Sunday @ New York Rangers - 11:00 AM MST

We gained some ground in the Central this past week on Dallas/Minnesota.

News/Notes:

- Innala was sent down to the Eagles after yesterday's game.
- Team practices today at 11 AM MST so we should get news on whether Nichushkin is cleared for contact and skates on one of the lines.
- MacK maintains his lead in the scoring race, but Draisaitl is gaining ground very fast.

They play Dallas tonite.

If Dallas loses and we win the green filthy ones tomorrow, we're for the first time this season at least momentarily number two in division. And I know I know games in hand, points percentage and all that, but to even be right there with all our early season adversity is truly awesome, and a job well done from front office to coaching to players stepping up.
 
Man, Drai has a 22.8 S% that cannot be sustainable, right? Amazing that Mack is leading with such a low shooting percentage.
His career average is 18.5%. 22.8 is high, but over the course of the season he could easily finish the season above 20% imo. But yeah for most players that's a wholly unsustainable number outside of complete outlier seasons.
