LA isn't giving up Stafford. They're keeping him until the wheels fall off. Guaranteed.

Oh, I know.

But say the Rams didn't win these past two games, opted to blow it up and Darnold wasn't regressing. It doesn't sound too crazy.

Especially after drafting McCarthy this season if you are Minnesota.

Not the cleanest of wins, especially with Darnold's play, but glad to snap our 2 game losing streak. Extra glad we won since I flew there to go to the game.

First ever Vikings game I've been to on SNF and it was a fun performance. What a lights out defensive performance.

Raiders fire OC Luke Getsy following blowout loss to Bengals, 2-7 start to season

Fired after the game, Brady must’ve sent a text to management
LV fired their OC, QB coach and OL coach. Kind of the most important coaches in Offence. Whether it was Davis being cheap and not giving Kliff year 3 at $1 mill or whatever, but when you have poor QB play that isn’t going to attract a good up and coming OC.

Pierce was a new HC so his connections were probably more limited in terms of who he knew around the nfl who could help him on O. Needed the GM to help find one and that’s what they opted for? With the work Getsy put in with Fields? Really?

I saw a tweet or something somewhere today that the Raiders have fired a HC or coordinator midseason in like 4 of the past 5 seasons. If that isn't the height of dysfunction, I don't know what is

Who hired them? Think that gives you your answer... It's the idiot with the bad hair cut.

PO dreams were done a while ago. Not going to rip off 8 straight after the bye to get 10-7.

Those guys were on the hot seat. So should have made a shortlist to contact.
If you want Vanilla offense from the mid 80's - call Norv Turner and sons today.

They got rid of the key positional coaches on offence. Can't turn it over to the RB/WR coaches to now call plays.

Who is going to take this gig on short notice with the likelihood of being gone after 8 games?

Congrats Tom Brady. You signed up to write a bunch of checks for coaches who no longer work for the team.

Didn’t realize how many 2 win teams there were at the 9 week mark. 9 teams at either 2-7 or 2-6. Man….

Car, No, NYG, NE, ten, Jax, Cle, LV, Mia

Makes for a lot more adjustments to stand alone games in the second half of the season.

what are art shell and tom cable up to? maybe they can bring back the bed and breakfast guy who was OC under shell too

There were rumblings and 'sources' coming out Vegas when Brady was made part owner of the team, the current coaches have 'packed it in' in terms of doing anything of showing a pulse. They know they are gonna get fired after this season, so that means Rob Ryan, Patrick Graham, Marvin Lewis, are just riding it out til the season ends as they know their fate already. Pretty much collecting pay checks.

At 2-7, they fired their OC/QB coach/Offensive Line coach which was not a surprise really. The OC is straight out of tier 3 college division, the offensive line is trash as they cannot run nor pass protect, the QB coach ain't helping either the starter or the back up.

As for Antonio Pierce, he may survive this season or not depending on their record finish.

All of this falls on Mark Davis, ever since Al Davis passed away he's been totally inept on the football side of things.

I don't think coaches pack it in. They still need jobs moving forward. Not going to retire on what they just made in LV. Defense is trying but are simply not talented or good enough to pick up a bad offense that turns the ball over. Don't have enough playmakers on D.

Offense, just not a functional unit. Plus are turnover prone.

Nothing will change if the QB situation doesn't improve. There are 9 clubs at 2 wins like LV. And really only 2 QBS in Sanders/Ward that appear to be capable of being in the top 12 in the NFL. Ewers, feels more like another Nix type guy as a middle of the pack, teens caliber QB.
