They sure as hell better. Assuming they are 12-0 before the ACC title game they'd have to be somewhere in the top 3 at that point. No way should they drop below 12 based on 1 loss to a high quality opponent such as Clemson.

Other than the brain fart at the end I don’t put this loss on him.

The biggest issue for me is that we have seen a Jim Knowles defense get punched in the mouth yet again in a big game. For 3 f***ing years.

Credit to Oregon though for winning that game.

Weirdly enough -- that defense has actually been giving up big plays all year. THey just get away with it against bad teams.

It’s been a theme for the last couple of years. It starts with coaching. JTT is the most over hyped Buckeye I can remember in forever. He plays good one time a year and it’s always Penn State for whatever reason. But as a whole, they don’t stunt on the line or dial up blitz’s. LB has been a sore spot since 2019 too.

What's more impressive, barely losing to a stacked team like Oregon, or needing OT to barely beat 3-3 USC? I know it often just comes down to wins and losses but this is pretty extreme. Ohio is the consensus favourite for their upcoming game, even on the road, and nobody actually believes Penn is a better team.

It doesn’t matter, if you’re undefeated in the big ten at this point, you’re going ahead of everyone with one loss. Ohio State is the top ranked 1-loss team, so that feels right. They’ll get a chance to decide that on the field.
