This dude got promoted from linebackers coach to defensive coordinator.
Guy reminds me of Ken Norton Jr, linebackers coach for Seahawks then went to the Raiders to be the defensive coordinator. He was so bad that Jack Del Rio took over the DC play calling, that's how bad he was.

It seems like it. If Smith's coverage numbers continue like they are now, he's going to allow more than 1000 yards passing this season, compared to 650 last year.

But LB coverage numbers are a bit finicky, IMO.
