Who is 'you' you ask? There are many yous. They get injured and they get fired. Welcome to Week 6, where the injury attritions become much more real, and coaches start getting fired, apparently.

Thursday on Amazon: San Francisco at Seattle

It's just another day without Christian McCaffrey for the 49ers, although it seems like he's around the team and not in Germany or something. Both these teams are coming off shocking home losses to teams they should not have lost to. Brock Purdy has made his hay playing from ahead in his career so far, but the 49ers have blown 4th quarter leads in both division games they've played. While the Seahawks have lost two in a row within the conference. Would be a big loss for the 49ers to start 0-3 in the division.

Sunday Morning on NFL Network: Jacksonville "at" Chicago

It's just another game in London this week, the first of two for the Jaguars, but it's actually the home game for the Chicago Bears. Both teams' offense warmed to the task last week, the Jaguars actually rescuing another home win against the Colts, that makes it 10 years in a row. Caleb Williams had his best game of the season, but it was against the Carolina Panthers.

Washington at Baltimore: It's a new day for the Washington Football Team, who are running up some scores. We're gonna get some fireworks. The Ravens are up to 2-3 after bungling just a little bit less than the Bengals did, getting a huge road division win. However, it appears they have an un-Raven like defense who have given up less than 25 points just once this season. Semms like it would not be a good time for superstar rookie Jayden Daniels and the somehow-very-fun Washington Football Team to make the quick trip up the Parkway, for only the third time since the Ravens came to existence. Ravens are big favorites, though, -6.5.

Houston @ New England: It's a new day for the New England Patriots, as 3rd overall pick Drake Maye gets the start. All the talk about whether the offensive line can keep him out of the hospital, but the time has come. Unfortunately, this couldn't happen some other week, when they're not playing the 4-1 Texans. Houston pulled out a win against Buffalo, thanks in part to some questionable decisions, but they have never won in New England.

Indianapolis @ Tennessee: It's another game without Anthony Richardson it appears, although the way Joe Flacco is playing, things seem like they're fine under center. They make their second trip within the division in as many weeks to Tennessee, who still have Will Levis, and also had their bye.

Pittsburgh at Las Vegas: It's just another day without a quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders, who I do not believe have named a starting quarterback after Aidan O'Connell replaced Gardner Minshew last week. Justin Fields is going to start looking over his shoulder soon at Russell Wilson, after last week's NFL After Dark loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

LA Chargers at Denver: It's just another day before and inevitable Davante Adams trade. The Chargers come off their bye as well. The Broncos have run off 3 wins in a row. These two teams have given up the fewest points in the league, with the caveat being the Chargers already had their bye. Chargers are -3, and the over/under is an Iowa-like 35.5.

Arizona at Green Bay: It's not just another day in Wisconsin for the Cardinals, as they're looking for the second win in a row 0 and ever - at Lambeau Field. The last time they made the trip to Green Bay was in 2018, as they had not won in the state of Wisconsin since 1949, (and their last win in Green Bay was at City Stadium in 1947). Green Bay got Jordan Love back early last week, and for the early parts of their game against the Vikings, it seemed too early, but they put together a late run to make the game interesting. The Cardinals have proven to be a feisty bunch, but they're still 5-point dogs.

Cleveland at Philadelphia: It's just another day for the Browns running Deshaun Watson out there to play quarterback, for an offense that's predictably been pathetic. The Eagles are coming off the bye, and their defense can seize another opportunity like they did three weeks ago. The Browns will be hawking for some more Jalen Hurts turnovers. Likely to be low scoring, but the 9.5-point spread has the Eagles as the biggest favorite of the week.

Tampa Bay at New Orleans: It won't be just another day for Derek Carr at QB, sounds like he is out, and it sounds like the Saints don't know who they're starting, which is always a good sign when the defending division champs are coming to town. The Bucs are coming off an overtime loss last Thursday and gave up 500 yards to Kirk Cousins. That's not going to happen again.

Detroit at Dallas: It's just another day with the Cowboys for Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady. This looks like the game of the week, and the networks agree. The Cowboys were out late last Sunday to get the comeback win over the Steelers. Lions had the extra week to prepare after being Seattle, and don't seem to be the type that could be looking ahead to the Vikings next week. Dallas has found more of their offense, and should be giving more work to Rico Dowdle. Expecting some points here. Lions are 3-point road favorites.

Atlanta at Carolina: It's just another game to put on in case the other one gets out of hand for Fox. But because it's the Panthers, we can't rule out Kirk Cousins throwing for 500 yards again.

Sunday Night: Cincinnati at NY Giants

It's just another slow start to the season for the Bengals. Joe Burrow said before last week's game against the Ravens that he needed to be perfect, and despite 5 touchdown, one interception doomed him and the Bengals in a 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens. The Giants killed a lot of survival pools last week beating Seattle on the road. Not every prime time game has to be impressive, but I'm sure very few people thought the Giants would have a better record than the Bengals. I've been behind patience for the Bengals, but they have to win this one.

Monday Night: Buffalo at NY Jets

It's just another day and new episode for As the Jets Turn. They fired Robert Saleh this week, before he could fire Nathaniel Hackett as offensive coordinator. Is Aaron Rodgers still finding it, or is he cooked? All the noise coming out of there, with a win over the Bills, they would be in first place in the AFC East. The Bills managed to come back and still give a game away against the Texans last week, and have now lost two in a row and their offense hasn't been cooking. We'll see if the Jets are inspired with the bright lights on them

Rattler has more upside than Haener. Haener more of a backup type QB.
Rattler is more boom or bust. Might as well see what he has.

NO still has like $50 mill to eat for Carr against the cap after the season should they move off him. Paid him $60 mill with another $10 mill due for 2025 salary that was guaranteed at the start of the 2024 league year. Will have taken just $20 mill in cap charges total through the end of 2024 year.
