Going to be real interesting to see how ownership spin the teams record and coaching being worse than last season while also hoarding cap space that could be used to improve the roster

Jonathan Kraft wanted a docile young coach who would yield to their demands and not a veteran coach with football acumen who would talk back, it's why they forced out Bill and didn't even consider Harbaugh.
Bill sucked

He never spoke a word to his QB or DC all year

He ruined this team

Come on you are aware of this ?

They don’t have personnel - going to take 2-3 years

You can’t draft Cole Strange over Trent McDuffie or Nkail Harry over Deebo Samuel

This is a Belichick & Kraft production

Kraft forced this version of Drake Maye’s last stand

They could have lost 24-10 today with Brissett & be another week closer to 1 overall & Maye on ice

The entire coaching staff including the gm have zero experience, I can’t imagine Krafts thought process deciding this was going to work out.

He benefits if he doesn't get killed. Nothing beats experience.

Nah, this is how young QBs get ruined.

This is where they learn bad habits, don't have the time or confidence to use what they're learning and build good habits or learn how to progress through the reads and make pre snap adjustments. Survival mode is detrimental.

He's better off sitting and building up in practice.

I'm putting this on Robert for falling in love with Jerod Mayo during a trip to Israel

Hell baby
The team quite literally has 4 PS guys on the line, they could have the best offensive coordinator in the world and it wouldn’t matter. This defense made Josh Allen look atrocious last week.

This is why I was saying it was dumb to start Maye so soon

In what world would he not killed behind this offense line?
They show him the tape and where he should have stepped up, checked down etc. Normal QB things. How many teams are starting rookies? Eliot Wolf is an idiot and thinks Packers slow simmering QBs is the only way to develop them.

They should have him on the move every passing play

It's all great in theory. The fact of the matter is the offense line can't even line up correctly. They are going to speed the kid up, getting him seeing rushers that aren't there at time, ruin his confidence, and possibly get him hurt.

If they had a decent line and some offensive weapons, I'd tend to agree to let him play. This is a downright terrible situation for even a good QB, let alone a rookie
