And yet all they did this offseason was re-sign Belichick picks, no? And still had like $100MM to spend. The defense was more than fine and they could've remade the entire offense in one offseason. They chose not to.
Yes, this is a complete organizational failure.

1. Belichick runs team into ground
2. Lazy/cheap owner then simply promotes coach and GM who were already on staff
3. Those uninspiring hires could already be in over their heads
4. Players getting frustrated on the field and now arrested off the field

Complete and utter dysfunction and it starts at the top. Bob Kraft deserves the blame for the state of the franchise. But hope he's doing well in his HOF pursuit.

I agree, tanking is the way to go.
The draft is part of the winning process, need great coaching and development, the right mix of free agents ( spend money on quality players), luck ( no significant injuries) and make good trades.

They're horrible.

We knew they'd be horrible.
I still watch.
They're a limited team in terms of talent.
They're also a dumb, undisciplined team.

We'll see how much slack Mayo gets.
One has to think he gets at least two seasons, even if this gets really ugly and they go 2-15.

They definitely don't have the horses to even be competitive against the good teams.
