The Bengals might not be cooked, but the oven is preheating

The Andy Dalton Revenge Tour could dig the hole a little more for them next week
They’ll have to make hay over their next 4. They’ve got the Panthers, Ravens, Giants and Browns. 3 of those are incredibly winnable and they get the Ravens in Cincy. If they go 3-1 in that stretch they’re right back in it. If they lose to the Panthers and get picked apart on defense again it’s probably full blown panic time.

Trying to find which game this is, I think it’s worded ambiguously because the stat keeping isn’t the greatest. It should be since ‘at least 1940’ so quite possibly it’s actually the first game in NFL history. The first game without a punt wasn’t until 1992.

Other notes:

The Bengals are the first team in NFL history to have zero punts, zero turnovers, and score at least 33 points, and lose. It had been 112-0, is now 113-1.

WFT is the first team in NFL history to have zero punts and zero turnovers in consecutive games. Which is even more impressive since they didn’t score a touchdown last week either

Bengals defense, can’t stop the run nor the pass. They got a sack, it was 2nd and 21 and the Commanders converted to a first down after that.

Outside of WR, which won't be as good next season when they let Higgins walk, they don't have another position that is really good. Hendricks almost won them the KC game til they opted to rush just 3 on 4th and 16 vs get some pressure as Hendricks was destroying the KC LT all game, which allowed KC to double him on the key play of the game.
Plus their guys need to stop talking.

This does seem to be a bit of a shift since Khan seemed happy letting schlubs like Gus Bradley hang around for far too long. Pederson is probably on borrowed time.

As he should be. It's the same shit with him as it was in Philly. Dude just refuses to admit the homies he hired for coaching jobs suck ass. Is Lawrence an issue? Absolutely, but having Press Taylor's garbo ass offense is also not helping.

They got that Filipino wide reliever, they’ll be fine

This is looking like a complete fiasco of an all in season for the Bengals

They’ll end up wasting Burrows prime

Have to can him, you just paid Lawrence; no way you can get rid of him. Go and get Vrable, and can Pederson.

What was Vrabel's best success in Tenn? With Arthur Smith and Tanny. When Smith left for the ATL HC job, Tanny's production went down. Smith is OC with Pitt. So, who would Vrabel bring in to get Lawrence on track?

We know Vrabel can coach a Defense and build a culture. But, QB development?
