It might be both. We often see Williams look annoyed and confused. He also tried to improvise his own play wasting a ton of time during the infamous time out incident against the Lions.

When the schedule came out there were 5 games to choose 3 from for those Saturday games. ATL-WAS was an option but got flexed to SNF. The other game that coulda been Saturday that isn't was Colts-Giants. So they kinda picked the lesser of two evils there.
Nevermind. I retract my complaint and instead want to extend my thanks to the network for not picking that abomination.

CW has been far from perfect and has a lot to work on, but he's been dealt a pretty shit hand this year as well.

-all time bad level of coach in Eberflus
-on his 3rd different OC in a 3-month span
-current HC started the season as a "passing game coordinator" who was a RB as a player and promoted twice this year to HC, I'm not convinced he was even qualified for what he was originally hired to do
-below average offensive line and the second cheapest offensive line in the league
-coaching staff that refuses to use their TE or play action
-Swift outside of a few games has been bad to downright terrible

How many rookie QBs would succeed in that situation?
