His ankle got twisted up. It was on third down and the game was effectively over already (mostly because Cleveland couldn't seem to scored against a high school team), so he didn't play after it.

Hard to tell what would have happened if it was a meaningful and close game.

It looked rough and he got it taped up, but we've also see that a lot before.
