Guessing he was gone before anyone saw him in there.

Bizarre.

He was a piss baby with Green Bay, too.

He's got fan energy in a players body. The minute one thing goes wrong everyone is to blame but himself.

De'vondre Campbell will probably be waived by tomorrow after that 'benching', man really quit.
Including this year's salary from SF he would have made $39 mill in his career.
Odd to just quit like that.

Vested Veteran, so salary began fully guaranteed once the season began and he was on their 53 man roster.

Wonder if there are any avenues for SF to recoup SB over the remaining 3 weeks of the season (1/6)?

That would be around $700K or so of the $4 mill SB.

I'd have to think that there's some sort of breach of contract type thing they can pursue. Unless he had some sort of injury, he's basically just refusing to do the job they hired him for.

think its safe to say that's it for this current niners window
This year has been doomed from the start, ever since Aiyuk held out. Plays they’d normally make they haven’t made all season. Case in point, the 2 dropped pick 6’s and the dropped td by Samuel.

Then you had that weird Campbell baby shit, followed by every single teammate throwing him rightfully under the bus.

The core is still solid and the rest will pay dividends. They did this same exact thing after their 1st sb loss to KC and haven’t missed the playoffs since. The lean years are probably about 3 away when all their deferred contracts are on the books. They better hope they draft well now and later, though.

When it comes to the 49ers, losing the year after the Super Bowl sucks. It just does. You have to take everyone’s best shot, meanwhile you have such a slog through the season just to get back to where you were, and you didn’t even win the damn thing.

If the GB @ Seattle game is SNF this weekend, does that definitely mean that they won't be flexed next weekend against the Vikings?

Am going to next weekend's game but really want to to stay in the 1pm slot.

It’s not explicitly prohibited. I think they needed to decide that by this past Monday. Would bet Fox put a protect on that game since Eagles/WFT is automatically protected.
