We all knew this game was going to be a shootout.

Defense did enough, Lions never had the ball with a chance to tie/take the lead. Even if that last onside was waaaay too close for comfort.

Good win against the best team in the league in their building. Not going to micro criticize it.

Thanks for playing Lamar and Saquon. Great seasons for you both. But the MVP race is over.
If anybody comes away thinking Josh isn’t the most valuable player to his team factoring the success and standings of the team, then I’d say they are not voting correctly.

Barkley deserves offensive player of the year and it’s not close for me and he should win that award no question.

Like I said, always in the bag

I guess down two starting safeties and 1.5 LBs it's not such a good idea to run your prevent/clock burning D. To be clear, I never want it run but it's a cold hard fact that McD/Babich will do it. I REALLY hope it doesn't happen in the playoffs

Was there any word on why Spector was playing in the first place? Did I miss an injury to Milano? Would have thought Williams would be ahead of Spector...

I have no real complaints, we were never holding Detroit..at home.. to under 30. Babich and McD did a solid job up multiple scores to keep everything in front of them (sans St.Brown TD) and making Detroit take what was given. They basically played the whole 4th quarter that way and the offense made plays when they needed to. Dont overlook New England and get healthy. Elam looked fine so I would give him the nod again. I would also look to incorporate the depth a little bit more. Let Gilliam run or catch a few, let Morris get a few catches, get Samuel involved, let the dline rotate a bit more.

It may not have played out the way we expected with Buffalo ahead the entire game however if at 4pm someone said both team would once again score 40+ you wouldn't be surprised. We expected Detroit to score and technically they did but did the defence take their foot off the gas? Injuries were piling up as well. I expected them to lose, especially after last week, however that's why this league is crazy and we enjoy the sport because week to week anything can happen.
