Kyle Orton was a full year starter as well

As for guys who only got a spot start somewhere....
Jeff Tuel
Peterman
Brady Quinn?

That puts us at 13 and I'm sure there's several more without looking it up...
Brian Brohm is my "favorite" single game starter answer to this. Quinn never played for us.

Can't forget luminaries like Kelly Holcomb too. AVP, Barkley, Anderson all get shoutouts as well.

Yup I was curious so I looked it up. We're missing 2. Both were primary backups and not 3rd stringers/random game starters. I'm counting pre-Allen, so the answers are not Matt Barkely or Derek Anderson

I'll never forget Tuel because I went to that game lol.

Didnt Kelly Holcomb get some starts?
Yup. I misspoke above though. Now we're missing two lol. One of them was here when Kelly was here, but started games after he left, so I dunno if he counts. (Same with Todd Collins though)

Whoops, Notabad period ninja edited him in. Alex Van Pelt.

The last unmentioned guy actually had 5 starts in the same season for us.

I don't think Craig Nall or Billy Joe Hobert got any games in the regular season, and Gibran Hamdan was a 3rd stringer. Levi Brown didn't get anything.

Matt Cassel totally counts for his one play.

OK i guess we can count Cassell lol. He doesn't show up on pro football references Bills passing stats for that season so I missed him lol

But there's one more who legitimately started 5 games for the Bills during the drought.

Assuming the rest of this year plays out as expected, the Bills will not have finished with a point differential less than 100 since 2019.

I'm starting to think there may be a benefit to having a defensive-minded head coach paired with a franchise QB. You don't necessarily need an offensive-minded head coach to be successful.

Wasn’t Billy Joe Hobert infamous for going on the radio/tv after his first game of the season and say he didn’t know the playbook at all and got cut the next day.

I'm stunned the analytics had the FG ahead here. You expect to make 4th and 1, there's time for a stop even with only one timeout, and needing a TD drive vs a FG drive is SOO different.

If the opposing QB is Mahomes, you say f*** the analytics, right? A FG to go up 2 only means you're at the mercy of their kicker at a medium-ish at best length. We've all seen that script before.
