Miami has nothing outside of their fastball, and the OL isn’t good enough to sustain 10+ play drives when teams are forcing Tua and co. to nickel and dime their way down the field
Tua also can't extend plays. If the pressure is getting to him and he has to roll out, it's typically going to be a less than10 yard throw. He also has to be concerned about running for yards. Another big time concussion, and his career may be over.

Tua is solid. He has good traits, but the way he performs when the pressure is getting to him will always hinder him. I'm not only talking about defensive pressure, either, I mean the pressure of a big in-game moment.

Allen, Lamar, Mahomes, and Burrow consistently will their team to Ws because they perform when their team NEEDS them. Even when those QBs arent having their best game, they still come through in the clutch.

How often have we seen that from Tua? Solid QB. Unfortunately, he has to go through Allen every year to win divisions, and he's just not close to his level.

To piggyback off this; Tua has, in 5 years, 7 4th Quarter Comebacks, and 9 GW Drives. He's also 0-1 in the playoffs. If Miami has a lead in a game, Tua can sustain it. Much less when they are down.

He's a good enough QB to get you wins in the most perfect of circumstances and conditions. If Miami was in the AFC South division, like they should be, they would be owning that division with Tua back there. But because they often have to come play outdoors and in colder/worse conditions with some of games being in December, the current iteration of the Miami Dolphins just don't have IT most of the time when it comes to crunch time.

Like I felt beforehand, CBS saw the ratings that KC-BUF got and they were never letting this game get flexed.

People forgot that CBS gets to protect one game per week,

The only scenario where it was getting flexed was put out there by Matt Bove who said the NFL could have told CBS that we will guarantee you KC-BUF in 2025 if you let us flex this game.

Which doesn't amount to anything, as far as CBS is concerned.

I remember reading about they get one Chiefs' game a year, and one Bills' game; by giving them the Bills-Chiefs matchup, the NFL satisfies two network requirements at once. I

It's the game within the game.

The disappointing season is what it is. They can happen to any team, and any coach. But to botch a game in that manner, and then go public saying that he would not have changed a thing, he fired himself in that moment.
It was never going to end well with that coaching staff. HC was already on thin ice, and everyone thought bringing in a rookie QB was going to make them contenders. Every year we get the same notions of rookies coming in and taking teams over. Even Mahomes didn't do that. Allen wasn't great his rookie season, but McDermott has some credibility banked by that point, and it was part of the plan. There has only been one Dan Marino.

Kansas City's crowd are morons. They might not have even gotten the spike off if the call was made correctly on the field originally.

Thankfully their kicker missed short like Carlsson did earlier

This is the luckiest 11-1 team I’ve ever seen.

This is not like the patriot teams that won all the time. Those teams blew out the Raiders of the NFL at the time. This is week in and week out struggling with terrible teams.
