The thing with Burrow this year is that his gigantic numbers come from largely the same place as these turnovers do. The knowledge that you need to score every drive to have a chance to win with this defense.

Most teams…they like to run some clock and play smart football and try to win the turnover battle and in the trenches.

I only saw some of this going on, I saw Strahan had that he got himself ejected on purpose because he knew he wouldn't be protected. With the ruckus going on afterward, guessing Ryans couldn't not see the replay of it to know better.
