I’m seeing defense can’t get stops and end of half coaching decisions are a disaster.

Hmm…who is in charge of these things?

Allen plays near perfect playoff ball. That’s every coaches starting point. You want to blow every end of half sequence and get FIVE TOTAL STOPS IN THREE PLAYOFF GAMES VS KC…it’s all on you. Defense wasn’t depleted in all three of those games. Or the Bengals game. Or the game they almost lost to Skyler Thompson.

Everything that is good about Buffalo in the playoffs comes from Allen. And you get to keep that no matter who the coach is. KC gets stopped more against every other coach they face in the playoffs. Every single one.
Coaches can't control what players do he had them in the appropriate formations in all those situations and the players sucked. Sometimes it's on the players to actually make a damn tackle for the most part they were put in position to do so and missed.

They just ran into a better team against KC

I can’t think of a more devastating loss to an organizations confidence.

My god
You ran the marathon, stopped 3 feet from the finish line, pulled out a gun and shot yourself in the foot.
I don't know, man. That Commies loss was pretty rough. And that Green Bay loss. And that Vikings loss.

And that Browns loss last season. And that Lions loss last season. And that Broncos loss last season...

HC has to be good situationally. Limited time left, but if opposition has TO, they can use the whole field. But, most DC protect deeper passes but Reid changed it up going short and doing a YAC for chunk plays, then called a TO. Did that twice and were instantly in Buf territory after 2 plays. First time they do that, you go, ok. Hmm... we can't just simply play off. Maybe we change it up and press so that we don't give their gives a clean release for a quick catch and run?

And for the idiot QB to know how much time is left and throw the ball immediately.

New OC as well. But, HC has to take charge. Know your people. Rookie QB and OC in game 2 or 3. Call the TO. Worst case, you are running the FG unit after a in-bounds play on 3rd down with 20 seconds left in the game with a running clock.

All my McDermott bitching comes with the understanding that he’s being graded on the harshest curve because his mistakes are far more meaningful. Mhe gets out-coached every single post season. That’s what he should be judged on. I stopped caring about his regular season accomplishments years ago. Allen is taking any coach to the playoffs. I argue no coach could do worse once they get there.
The man can scheme from time to time and coach the shit out of D backs.....That's about the only praise I heap on him nowadays. Allen is the cause of 99 percent of our success like you say.....

He's coached in 11 playoff games. Out of all of those his D has like 3 good showings

Jags
Ravens ( his magnum opus )
Patriots

I guess you can throw in the Steelers if ya want but that's it. His healthy number 1 D got utterly obliterated by KC back in 2021 . I know people will throw the blame on Fraizer for a bunch of those games but we all know that the D is ultimately McDermott's year in year out.

The Bears can't let Eberflus coach another game. He's cost his team 3 wins this season. I'm not sure I have seen such blatant bad coaching over and over again. It's honestly kinda impressive how he gets everything wrong.

Surprised Brady with the cash he’s made wants to work holiday games as a broadcaster. That would be the last thing I want to do when I already spent 15-20 years away from family at times during holidays

Didnt Brady get divorced because he didn't want to spend time with his family and chose to focus on football instead?

Yeah was assuming though that he'd at least want to spend time around his other family after so many years probably being away.

Giants D clearly giving 50% effort again on many plays. I'd be really surprised if Daboll was still coaching in 11 days.

I suspected tanking in the Washington game. Eberflus literally gave the Hail Mary a chance by not calling the proper defense the play before. Which would have been "Guard the sidelines, force a completion in the middle". But they just literally gave Washington the yards.
So you think Eberflus' plan is to lose on purpose so the team has a better chance to win next year after he's been fired for losing too much. Makes sense.

It sure looked like an unintentional intentional tank move from upstairs but logically they're not in a serious position to draft top 3-5 anyhow so logic would tell you it was stupidity. If Jacksonville did that I'd believe it was on purpose

The Bills D lead the league in turnovers and have been top 5 for basically 5 years now....Allen is a big reason the offense is great but he can't control what the defense does. Really can't whine too much when no other team has been stopping KC other than the Bengals once and that's mainly because Mahomes was terrible that game.
