Going up 5 with over 2 to go…we’ve seen that movie against Mahomes enough times to know. Of course you could end up only up 2 with the same amount of time and putting the ball in the same guy’s hands…but to me both of those situations are losses anyway. Go for it.

So if the defense can force the Chiefs to burn about a minute worth of time it would basically force KC into an onside kick.

Yea, it's 100% the type of thing that should get someone fired. It's not even like the Chiefs rushed the next play and they didn't have time. They Chiefs called a timeout! They had like a minute and a half to look at
