Who? They didn't have the highest offer for Ridley. They were willing to pay guys this past off-season but none of the big WR FA wanted to come here because of the QB situation.

Covington can't return as dc.
Van Pelt can at least point to Maye's development as a positive for him. What can Covington actually say he's done well?
Let’s keep blitzing 15 year veteran Matt Stafford, that’s worked really well so farCovington can't return as dc.

I'm not saying they low balled him, but at the end of the day they didn't have the highest contract and the money wasn't spent. 95% of the time the highest contract gets it done, so until a player turns the Patriots for less money elsewhere, I'm not going to let Kraft off the hook. They have spent in the bottom 5 of all teams over the last 5 years.Just because they didn't have the highest offer doesn't mean they were lowballing guys either. With that said it was rumored they were willing to give Aiyuk more than $32 million a season. They reportedly offered Ridley $22 million a year, but Tennessee offered $23 million
I do. You in theory keep it one score game and put more pressure on the opposition. I don't understand the analytical people on this one.Don't understand the decision to kick the extra point instead of going for two.
