I'm not saying they low balled him, but at the end of the day they didn't have the highest contract and the money wasn't spent. 95% of the time the highest contract gets it done, so until a player turns the Patriots for less money elsewhere, I'm not going to let Kraft off the hook. Whatever they "offered" Aiyuk is irrelevant because they never traded for him, so it was never real. Until I see a player walk away from the Patriots despite having the best contract out there, then I'm not letting Kraft off the hook.
