Covington can't return as dc.

Van Pelt can at least point to Maye's development as a positive for him. What can Covington actually say he's done well?

Covington is Mayo's guy. Not sure there's anyone whose job is safer. If he gets fired, it's either because Mayo has a lot less power than we think he does or he's worried about his own job.

Nope

You can't run the ball there if you are planning on kicking a FG if you get stuffed

That is terrible coaching

Who? They didn't have the highest offer for Ridley.

Just because they didn't have the highest offer doesn't mean they were lowballing guys either. With that said it was rumored they were willing to give Aiyuk more than $32 million a season. They reportedly offered Ridley $22 million a year, but Tennessee offered $23 million

Who knows if it will improve anything, but there needs to be a change in defensive playcaller after this week. Defense was down the top 3 corners as well as their best pass rusher last season and weren't getting dog walked like they have on a consistent basis this year.

In other news, Lamar Jackson is trending towards one of the most predictable "great" QBs in NFL history. Big moments, against great defenses...he shrinks.

I'm not saying they low balled him, but at the end of the day they didn't have the highest contract and the money wasn't spent. 95% of the time the highest contract gets it done, so until a player turns the Patriots for less money elsewhere, I'm not going to let Kraft off the hook. They have spent in the bottom 5 of all teams over the last 5 years.

Big man TD!

So impressed with Drake Maye. Whether it's right or wrong AVP deserves credit for Maye developing like this. I think AVP could be just fine if you bulk up the personnel on offense.

Need a little more urgency though here because the Rams could easily kill game with 4 minute drive
