Lance was terrible in the preseason, but he made a handful of awesome plays with his legs. The Cowboys should have been using Lance as a pass catching RB this whole season. He’d be their only dangerous RB.

Lance is a free agent after this summer, so there is some incentive to playing him. If he plays well and gets a nice contract, it will help in the future compensatory pick math.
