Those 2 deep playcalls on 3rd/4th and 2 came back to screw them. They should've came away with at least 3 from that drive.
Yea, going deep on 3rd is fine if you've already decided you're going for it on 4th. But then you need to call a play that gets the first down, not just bomb it deep again.

The 2 pt conversion playcall was also a coach thinking he's a genius but actually being stupid. Chase is having an all time night and he's elite at contested catches. You get him matched up one on one and you just run the clock down trying to draw them offside. Then you come back from a timeout and *again* get Chase matched up 1 on 1 on the outside....and you literally never look in his direction.

The NFL really needs to change their rules for OT

welcome to my TED talk

What would you suggest? I think they should just make it easy and say each team gets a possession in OT, period. First team scores a TD, the second team has a shot. Right now the whole if the first team scores a TD the game is over is a bit more confusing than it needs to be.

I love that the Ravens have a QB who throws fadeaways in the clutch lmao.

Wonder if Lou Anarumo gets it this week. Just doesn’t seem to have an answer, but I also don’t see how that’s going to do anything. They can’t play completely football.

Both teams get a possession at minimum. If the score is still tied after both of their possessions then OT continues as sudden death. Seems like common sense to me.

It happens but not all the time. When it happens 4 times, they can begin enforcing it as they’re on the network opposite the doubleheader
4 times meaning at least four other games were on simultaneously? Meaning every team in the 1pm EST window could have made this blackout request?

I couldn’t tell you how often it happens, it looks like almost never, but they did it last year when they went up against the 49ers/Eagles.

The idea is that their game is not selling, and they don’t want people staying home to watch another game instead of theirs. It’s actually the opposite of how the concept was used before.
