There isn't a chance Mayo gets let go at this point.

If they went 1-16? Sure probably have to, but a few wins, and competitive in other loses? No way Kraft makes that move, even if they finish last in the division.

Rest will be tough.
At 5-12 should get us a pick no later than 8.

Terrible organizations fire their coaches after 1 year. He's hardly a lock to make it to year 3 of course.

Maye is probably a top 5 QB. Just avoid long deals and spend to the cap and we'll be OK. Sit him for the year before the Buffalo games and see if Milton can play his way into a mid round picks.

You said top 5 TODAY. Not down the road. Today. He doesn't have the body of work to grade above any of them.....yet.

Most of the reason Caleb looks less impressive lately compared to Sept is film. Opponents are now making adjustments and it's going to be on Caleb to adjust back. The same will happen to maye. There hasn't been any film on him until now. Adjustments will come. How will HE adjust. Mac jones looked good early on as a rookie too.

Are we really doubling down on this take? I guess watching multiple years of shit QB play in NE will skew your perspective. But heck, I love your optimism......

Daniels, Jackson, Burrow, Herbert, Mahomes, Allen, Stafford, Goff, Purdy, Murray, Hurts, Stroud........and that's just off the top of my head.
