Burrow is in the same tier as Allen and Lamar, and there's nothing anyone can say to change my mind. The man's a savage, and Im praying they don't sneak into a WC spot and meet us in the WC round.

So much for the go for 2 pts at end of regulation crowd. Not saying it's wrong or better than settling for O.T. but not always the right decision either.
I think going for 2 last night was absolutely the right decision for the Bengals. The Bengals' D was as rigid as wet tissue in the 2nd half last night, and there was little hope that they'd stop Lamar if they went to OT and Baltimore won the toss. Hell, there may have been enough time left on the clock for Lamar to go down and get into FG range at the end of regulation.

Didn't love the Bengals' playcall for the 2, though it didn't help that Gesicki got held. But I still think it was the right decision in the moment.

"The league" did not cause the refs to call things one way or the other.

Did "the league" want Miami to win when the refs called the bogus PF on Rapp and the bogus holding calls on Dawkins and Torrence?

Or, did "the league" want Buffalo to win with the PF on Poyer that gave the Bills the shot at the game winning FG?

This week's episode of The Bruce Exclusive talks to this well, IMO.

yes unfortunately the league evens out matchups w b.s. holding like golf handicapping and no they had to call poyer hit , we've been seeing this for years we play jazz and practice 1st and 20 hopefully real football exists

Peyton Manning winning in Denver is suspect when thinking super bowling around gay masons is real , Josh sure kid a competitive treat to watch

There's no real timeline, but it appears both are out this week.
hopefully we win and leave both out if fractured like Josh finger til after our bye week

Allen is the better player and 1000 percent the guy I want leading my team and not the mercurial Burrow. With that said, Burrow is probably the most gifted passer in the league. He was making throws last night that you just don't see.

I think the Bills will win this game but it's going to be a lot tighter than people will be comfortable with.

Then the Chiefs match up prior to the bye. They'll be 8-3 or 9-2 entering the bye.

So much for a down year. Beane and McDermott executed the hard reset masterfully.
I doubt too many people wouldn't have taken 8-3 at the bye before the season started. Especially with a 3+ game lead in the AFC East.

I've got Burrow in one league and Chase in the other. Can confirm I'm a happy camper.

My opponent in the league that I have Burrow in has Henry and played Chase Brown. Burrow nearly equalled those 2 on his own, so I'm in real good shape there.
Same. I was thinking of trading Burrow a few weeks ago, but the remembered he goes nuclear from Nov-Jan. Seems to be following the trend.

Ehhh...I have to disagree.

Allen is a physical freak, and has a cannon for an arm. Burrow has a better pocket presence and is more accurat, though Allen isn't a slouch there either. They're both complete savages.

I will say, Allen playing smarter is freaky for the league. I think him and Burrow are neck and neck, but Allen's potential still entices me more. Ive always wondered if he'd mature his game, and he has, which is such an enticing thought. So, Id taka Allen going forward for that reason + he's more durable.

I cant speak on leadership. Seems like both of their squad go to war for them.

Bummer, and it sounds like Coleman is going to be multiple weeks at least.

I'm very happy the Ravens won, I want no part of Bengals in the 6 seed, bills the 3 seed. This L helps keep them out of the playoffs. Thank god I avoided Chase and Burrow in fantasy, my buddy is pissssed.

That being said, I think there's still a decent chance the Bengals make the playoffs. Surprised they are only +135 in betting markets. I guess everyone else sees the path as well, even though they are 4-6 and it would nearly have to be a wild card spot.

They don't have too difficult a schedule the rest of the way and the 7 seed isn't exactly running away from the pack. If they beat Denver in their head to head and split with Pittsburgh 9-8 probably qualifies even if they lose to the Chargers. They could very easily be a nightmare 7 seed for someone

I just know that Cincy-Buffalo is going to be a matchup in the wild card round and it scares the shit out of me.

There's a VERY real possibility that we have to beat Cincy, Baltimore AND KC to make the Super Bowl. Gulp.

I'll go out on a limb here and say I am Ok with the non call on Giseki getting held.

The guy threw his hands up in the air, collapsed and tried to oversell it big time. There were two guys on him but the 2nd one didn't even really touch him. And the main defender did lock him up but it's within the 5 yards from the LOS. Was there a tug here and there? Yeah sure, but not enough for a 6'5" 260 pound TE to flail and fall.

he woulda been better off trying to reallly fight through it harder and it coulda got called.

Ed Oliver has a PFF score of 80. Just felt like that needed to be said. Miles Garret is 95, just as reference of what a top tier player can be. McDermott's one real weakness is his D-line every year. He can't get any consistency out of them no matter who it is.
