3rd line Staal achievement unlockedWe won this game, sure, but if Kotkaniemi becomes a 3rd line Eric "Captain Wraparound" Staal because it worked that one time, was it really worth it?

If only he could get his regular shot off as quickly as he wrapped that puck. Might be worth him becoming that guy.We won this game, sure, but if Kotkaniemi becomes a 3rd line Eric "Captain Wraparound" Staal because it worked that one time, was it really worth it?

My son had two questions answered by Rod during the press conference tonight.
Way to go kid!
Tulsky and co are obviously aware of that but it’s a complicated situation man. Andersen coming back during the season means we can’t write that cap off. Kochetkov being back sooner than later makes it a different situation than if he were out long term. God forbid they roll with the next man up mentality for a week or two to figure things out, there are proper logistics and shit they need to weigh up right now. If the Canes lose a game or two at the tail end of November because they’re working out an emergency trade due to both goalies going down, it’s all good, things happen. This is not EA Sports NHL 25 where trades and roster management is handled by a programmed algorithm that allows you to be a perfect GM in a fantasy land version of running a team in the NHL. If it was, teams like Carolina, Colorado, Edmonton, Toronto all would’ve just traded for the best goalies in the league by now.Dude martin still sucks. If We have a solid tandem, we are leading the league, We can't win the playoffs with Martin even sitting on the bench. Need 2 competent midners. He isnt one

Jackson Blake has surprised me with his speed, toughness and skill.
2024-25 NHL Rookies are a good bunch. He desrves to be considered ROY with Michkov and Celebrini.

I don't know how y'all have time for this.TSDR. I think you meant to say:
In a contest that was eagerly anticipated, the outcome unfolded in a manner that was both expected and, for some, a bitter disappointment. The team, full of hope and determination, faced their opponents with the goal of securing a hard-fought victory. However, despite their best efforts, the match concluded with an unfortunate and rather resounding defeat — a scoreline that left little room for debate.
The final tally, 5-1, was a stark reflection of the disparity in performance on the day. From the very first whistle, it was clear that the opposition had come prepared, displaying an energy, strategy, and precision that seemed to elude our team. The first few goals were swift and efficient, striking quickly and decisively, leaving our defense scrambling to regain composure. Each successive goal seemed to add to the weight of the challenge, as the scoreboard mounted a silent but unyielding pressure.
As the game progressed, there were fleeting moments where hope flickered — brief flashes of brilliance that hinted at a possible turnaround. Yet, these were quickly dashed by defensive lapses and missed opportunities. The lone goal our team managed to score was a small consolation, a momentary spark in an otherwise dimly lit performance, but it was not enough to alter the inevitable conclusion.
By the time the final whistle blew, signaling the end of the match, the scoreline was unmistakably set in stone: a 5-1 loss. While the outcome was disappointing, it also served as a stark reminder of the areas in need of improvement. The defeat may sting in the short term, but it also provides a critical opportunity for reflection, growth, and renewed focus in the matches ahead.
Oh I don’t know……Maybe because his coach has no trust in him and demotes him at every opportunity. Sure that’s not easy to deal with for KK.It’s gotta be something in his mind. He goes from doing every little thing right to every thing wrong seemingly overnight.
