Andrei Markov was drafted as a center, played forward until he was 20. He became the Habs' best d-man of the last 15-20 years.

Surely Eller can play one channel left or right of center ice.

Not everyone is a hockey genius like Markov.

Several center can't play wing, even less so their off-wing. Even wingers struggle sometime on their off-wing.

Even if that puck went in, it would have 100% been goalie interference.

Hornqvist came in at full speed and pushed Condon into the net.

It would have been awesome if that was a coaches challenge and the refs came back after the review and said "It's a no goal, and also, you have a penalty for goalie interference"

Obviously it wouldn't happen, but it would be awesome.
