I just like Reinbacher.

He won’t compromise his defense but he absolutely can help in transition and offensively. Just not flashy.

That’s the difference with Mailloux, Mailloux doesn’t have great instincts in his own zone.

I'm so disappointed in Roy's progression. He looked solid during his callup last year but this year he's regressed. Of course, you can't close the book on him yet, Heineman was seen as a complete bust even at the start of this season's training camp. Still discouraging to see.
He's in a tough spot though, with Demidov coming next season and Beck seemingly leap frogging him on the depth chart. He has to bounce back big time next season or he may not sniff the NHL at all (at least for next season)

Disagree, he's among the best player on the ice from my point of view.

Xhekaj is sooo solid.
Beck has not been good sorry he just hasn't. His back check on the first goal was well below his standard.
His plays are not coming off he's getting owned on the dot. Getting beat out on the boards and knocked down quite often he needs to come up with more pucks. Fortunately his skating in general has been good but he has to be a details oriented guy and it's the details in his game that are off from what I'm seeing.

He's been good and bad. Can't leave your feet in the slot on the PK where rebounds can find the net.
That play has to be made at the posts and out so deflections won't hurt you. He knows it you could see it on his face when he went to the bench. His outlets are still really good I'm happy with his mobility for the most part.

I'm personnally not surprised. That was the main thing for him. Sustain a constant effort. He surfed at first on talent. Then he has to put the effort.. Roy screams the type of guy that has a lot of talent despite his lack of effort and love for the game. And when he sees that his talent alone won't make him a NHL'er....he'll fade out....
