Who can imagine that a single trade can turn the team around. Laine came back also helped a lot.

So far both additions have really solidified our team. Carrier gives us a more balanced defense and moves Savard down in the lineup which is a big postive and Laine pushes everyone down into their appropriate spot. We now have 4 lines where everyone isn't playing in a role they aren't suited for which was the case when Laine was out (not one could grab onto a spot in the top 6). We're seeing the benefits of both additions.

I don't even think the management team knows yet who is their starter but my gut feeling is that it's an uphill climb for Monty.
