I'm talking about our recent success mainly. Because so far the season had been painful to watch. Then we got a bump with Laine. Then returned to normal. Then we got another bump with the addition of Carrier. And now we destroy three elite teams back to back.

Paying too much attention to short term, game to game results vs looking the big picture and assessing wether the ship is headed in the right direction, is a good way to keep flip flopping between being pleasantly surprised and horribly frustrated...

But from a broader vantage point, this little run isn't the least bit surprising, nor was the sky falling when a few early 20-somethings had a rough stretch to start the year.

Trust me....

Future is bright 😎

I don’t see the Habs getting pushed around at all, the whole soft thing is a myth imo. I just checked the stats , they out hit the big Vegas team 39-22.
I told my wife after we tied the game that you could see that the Knights were worn down from the constant forechecking our guys doled out, they lost a step.

It's awesome that you pointed this out because we have been playing a heavier game against all three opponents on this road trip.

Holy shit!!! They won!!! I can't believe they won. And what a shut down clinic they put on in the third after Dach scored. Insane!

@Tyson should have birthdays more often. Another 40 of them or so this season and we'll be hoisting the cup.

No seriously... super solid effort in all 3 zones. Montanbo save of the game with 10 seconds to go. The team is clicking for now. So I am going to enjoy it while it lasts.

On to juniors.

Team started to turn things around from the Calgary game. It was pretty evident something clicked as of that game. They’ve been playing very solid since and have been progressing little by little

Great day in the sports world so far for me. First UM beats Bama for the 2nd time in a calendar year and then the Habs go into Vegas and get 2 regulation points.

Pezz sitting back eating hot dogs and earning 812 thousand for the season, what a gig!
Seriously though what's the Habs and MSL's plan for Pezz at this point. If MSL isn't gonna play him anymore just try and move him or put him on waivers to see if he can get a chance somewhere else instead of letting him rot in the pressbox.

Does anyone in the MTL media even ask MSL or Hughes about Pezz and what their plans are for the guy?

Another 3 in 4 days coming up.

@ Chi Friday
@ Col Saturday
Then back home Monday against Vancouver.

Not an easy stretch.

Trap game in chicago, then high altitude in Colorado..... then the dreaded first game home off a road trip.

It's brutal in every way.
