Good hard fought win. Stuck with it. The big boys had a hell of a game but what about that Murray guy. He was making saves just like Saros. Looked great. Hope the goaltending just had a bit of a lull and is bouncing back. Great game again for him. Nylander awesome. Lilly and Sandin looked great. The D overall was solid. Great W. Let's go kick Detroits ass. Go Leafs Go.

Entertaining game. Murray very solid.

I watch: Holmberg, McMann, Kral, Hollowell, Anderson, and of course the development of Sandin and Liljegren and I can't help but think of where we could be if, since the early mid-teens, we had drafted better. We have our stars, but these youngsters who are contributing is great to see. Had we seen their equivalents 5 years earlier...the draft capital we'd have saved, the cap hits...sigh.

Murray won the goalie dual

Leafs was some careless turnovers but Murray and some desperation plays bailed them out.

Still nice to get the win without Matthews and to see the PP win it when it mattered. The PP looked rough all night until then.

Liked McMann’s game.. has some nice size and great speed to keep up with the pace. Has some potential!!

I’m not sure I’d agree it was a sleeper. It was good defensive hockey with some great goaltending. It was a demonstration of playoff hockey and we came out on top. Great game by Nylander, Marner and Tavares. McMann had a decent debut.

Good win.
Totally agree. That was a good game. Fast pace, lots of chances both ways. Best goaltending dual I think we've seen so far this season.

Nylander was excellent. Rough few shifts for Timmins there...

Another streak busted; Preds had points in six straight. You all know this streak busting has been leading up to Saturday, and handing the B's their first home regulation loss.

Entertaining, low scoring mid-weeker. Glad we won it!
