Even if he completely flames out of NHL, you can make good money playing in the AHL on 2-way deals or over in Europe.

I feel like people have some kind of vendetta against the kid based on hype when he was 15.

Guy 3rd in league scoring for a prospect struggling to stay in the lineup of a mediocre team. Seems like a fair value. Even more fair seems Paul Cotter and a 3rd. Would you take that?

While not passing judgement. I am now understanding why he fell in the draft. I think most projections had Wright going 1st or 2nd. Of the top ten picks from the 2022 draft only Savoie(ahl) and Marco Kasper (1st year in the league) have less pts than Wright. Wright is tied with Gauthier with the Ducks with 9 who is also in his first full year in the league.

Wright is only 20 years old. So there is a lot of time for him to come around. I look at how it took Alex Lafreniere and Kakko to turn the corner with the Rangers. Lafreniere is developing better than Kakko but both are better than their first two years in the league.
