My complaint about Dermott was that he never does anything, he never contributed offensively but he also doesn’t make any glaring mistakes. But what was that? That’s when you chose to make the biggest mistake of your career?

So we replace Sandin and bring in Dermott.
Dermott, makes the same pass in the defensive zone leading to the OT winner.

You can't make this stuff up!

Not going to pick on Dermott too much other than highlight how the puck possession obsession can get a team in trouble. Sometimes the right play is to just get the puck down the ice in a hurry and have a guy try to get it back, not retreat to even more dangerous areas of the ice - especially under pressure, especially who is doing the retreating.
