What vets with cup experience did LA have last year ?
The Kings had 3 players on their team that won previously won the Stanley Cup.
Rob Scuderi has already been mentioned.
Justin Williams won the Cup with Carolina back in the 2005-06 season, and he was a big part of their core.
Dustin Penner, for all his faults, won with Anaheim (how could any Sens fan forget), and he had a very good playoff in 2011-12.
The Kings also had several players that played in the Cup finals previously - Richards, Carter, Gagne, Stoll, Greene, and Moreau, so they had plenty of players with Cup experience.
I think adding a veteran or two with Cup experience would be extremely beneficial to the young guys. Obviously, the veterans should also be contributors, not just guys sitting in the press box and telling stories.
Troy Brouwer would be a nice acquisition, although he likely won't be available. Fourth-line players like Adam Burish and Ben Eager would be very good additions for any playoff team. Corey Sarich would be a nice 3rd-pairing defenceman, and he's recognized as a playoff performer.
