Martin, for sure. That 2016-2017 Cup largely rides on him, IMO.
We outshot SJS 206-139 in 6 games

Game four they beat us 24-20...every other game was a total lopside

Yeah our offense was way better and we were blocking a lot of shots, but, you have to feel, as dinosaur as it is, a good offense starts with a good defense

.. Or we can just do what we do and randomly bop around the ice

You would think (by now anyways) that this defense by the team would exonerate any goaltender, but no, this place has some of the dumbest takes out there.

While what he said isn't the greatest because, his own teammates use the same ploy, it is a cheap tactic. For a team who has the tic tac toe of 300,000,000 old dinosaur who can't make a seemingly PP look routine with the talent it puts out there each and every game and watch as it stars chase off at the most inopportune moments creating gaping holes in their defense and people still fall back to the last line of defense as the scape goat.

Not only did Geno chase so lazily, so did Rust chase off allowing the goal line pass up.

Those are brain farts worthy of being brought out front and center.

This team has very bad habits.

It's Pirate level embarrassing we employ Mike Sullivan still. This team will finish like 18th or something. Never come close to a playoff spot, but won't get near a top 10 pick.

The worst possible way to lose.

All the while putting the least likeable team ever on the ice.

Jarry got us the first point.
Jarry lost us the 2nd point.

Rust thinking he could do that move 2 games in a row instead of passing it to an empty Malkin.

Not going with all you complainers here. We actually played a decent defensive game and our OT wasn’t bad.

I would have tried Lizotte in the OT.

Yeah Lizotte's ES ice time needs to go up.

Apparently Steigy said postgame that the Rangers really really want Sullivan as coach…we should be dangling him for a couple firsts, a good prospect etc lol…

How dare we complain about being out of the playoffs.
I thought we would be used to it by now ;).

Seriously though, Senators have been good as of late, call them being hot on the bottom feeder side, so didn't expect an easy game.

We kept it close. Killed a bunch of back to back penalties against a #5 PP.
We didn't give up a goal 30 seconds after scoring one.
We didn't get killed in the 3rd period.
We didn't deflated after going down 2-1.

So good things happened even though we didn't get 2 points.
Yeah....out of playoffs....we are a borderline playoff team anyways....maybe. And that's upgrade from where we were a few weeks ago.

Lizotte should be the 3c over Glass…I have no idea why Sullivan keeps playing him on L4…
He's the engine that drives that line and makes Acciari/Neito useful.

Just imagine if he wasn’t buried with that task and could play more minutes with someone who might actually be able to pot a goal lol…what a better use for Lizotte!…if only we had a coach who could see that…
