I wonder If Kyle would consider 48 million for 3 years of Marner OR 36 million for 2 years?

Even for 3 x 19 at 57 million? Call it the "Heinz Ketchup" specialIf Marner is only going for 3 years, it isn't to come to a rebuild team.
With this roster, they’ll still picking bottom 5 with Marner, too late for that though. So you want to sign Marner, and think we'll still pick top 5ish? So whats the point of signing Marner, then?
Not sure how it’s made up.There might be plenty to criticize, but if there is so much, why do you just make shit up like the first sentence of the second to last .
So add him just to add him? For the sake of it?With this roster, they’ll still picking bottom 5 with Marner, too late for that though.
I agree with you that I'm disappointed the Hawks didn't get Zegras after seeing what it cost to get him.So all it took to get Zegras was quantity and ol KD is once again asleep at the wheel.
We have a GM problem
Philly got him for cheap, but if GMs thought he was such a valuable asset, Ducks would have gotten a much better return. So all it took to get Zegras was quantity and ol KD is once again asleep at the wheel.

Zegras is an upgrade over 97% of the forwards on the Hawks.Philly got him for cheap, but if GMs thought he was such a valuable asset, Ducks would have gotten a much better return.
Might just be a case where fans value him more than NHL teams.
Theoretically he'd be an upgrade for a lot of teams. But there didn't seem to be much interest league wide given the minimal return.Zegras is an upgrade over 97% of the forwards on the Hawks.

We don't need anymore soft perimeter players.Zegras is an upgrade over 97% of the forwards on the Hawks.
