also the 2025 draft is pretty shallow after Hagens, Misa, schafer, Martone frondell. Mqueen and RAbykn seem to be sliding down a bit in tiers compared to those guys above. if you put the gas on a rebuild to early then you end up good but not stanley cup good. Lev has been playing better, Boisvert has been good, Mustard spellacy and Pridham Henry and Svenson have all been good when you factor were they were drafted. Vanacker its a bit early.

At this point if Davidson is content watching Luke coaching and this roster than we do have a GM problem
It’s imperative to give this team a different look. If Kyle is that inflexible, he’ll lose his job. I get it he has plan he likes. But shit goes sideways sometimes. A positive quality is to be able to deviate and navigate through these issues.

So far, Kyle has not shown the capability of doing that.

Just beyond pathetic. We are getting depressingly close to a decade of just being an awful team, when you factor in they’re likely to be had next year as well.

I could care less if Luke stays with the team rest of year. Bringing in a temp coach isn't going to help anyone moving forward. Just ride it out and make a change in the offseason.

If this is your stance then we should shut down Bedard

Why play him with this slop and risk injury

If we are going to throw away season dont bother with kids. Send them down if they can be and shut others down

What is point of suiting Bedard up to play with this garbage and for this coach?

You can argue sitting out rest of year will be more beneficial than playing with shit every night for a coach with no system or idea how to develop talent

You can laugh but he’s got a point. They’re getting used to losing. No one is hungry so there’s no effort.

Can’t bring up the kids because the coach will ruin him. Can’t fire the coach because the GM is afraid of getting fired. The longer you let this happen, the harder it will be to eventually turn the corner.

And then the kids never get NHL experience because they never get to the NHL because there’s no one to cover for them. So then you’re stuck in a viscous cycle of garbage teams and over ripening prospects.

Also over ripening prospects is not a real thing. They’re either ready or they’re not. It’s a Stevie Y bullshit concept, who is also terrible at building teams.

So obviously Davidson started off with a tank but yeah starting next year there needs to be positive growth! And yes keeping Richardson around is a sin

Who is ruined? How do you know coaching "ruined" them as opposed to just being a bust because players bust all the time? Who is overripened? What are people even saying anymore.

Too much drama ! I think everyone expected 75 points or close and its looking like 60 . The lower teams have really improved . A top 4 pick is a huge win . Ice Hogs players maturing is what really matters in the grand scheme of things .

Ok say you do fire LR after tonight. Then what?
Have a different coach as interim. Maybe one who won't matchup Bedard against the other teams best shutdown forward or one who keeps his line consitent for more than 2 games. All that counts is to show improvement and give Bedard the best chances to shine/develop. That's all I expect.

Sounds similar to you selling the idea that the Hogs should expect to get boat raced by an older AHL team. What are YOU even saying on behalf of Blackhawks PR and Marketing?

This is the worst roster in the NHL. I think you can definitely point to things like Teuvo and Bert coming here and being terrible, but both guys are third wheel types and we don't have any guys to let them be the third wheels.

Not sure what people expected this year to be. I think we should have seen, what, 5-10% more improvement than we've seen? But idk man. Roster is ass.

Having one of our assistants take over mid season (which is probably would happen) Montgomery would have been great but St Louis is farther along so it makes sense he would not want to come here. the net coach if he is a good one is going to want big money and 5 years. 5 X 5 min.

Last 5 years TT has scored at about a 61 point pace over 82 games. He's at like a 39 point pace after last night.

I would have thought the shot at top line minutes with Bedard and PP1 time would have somewhat off-set the drop in roster talent. Anything less than 50 or so points and a 20/30 season I would consider a disappointment.

He's been more of a 3rd wheel and passenger than I was expecting.

Meh, he's 187th in cap hit despite having just signed this offseason and having just gone into the open market and not signing for very long. He's a fairly mid level player. Hopefully he can pick it up a bit from where he's at right now and bring more to the table. I also wouldn't say his fairly poor start is outside the range of expectations.

Legit, why do you keep harping on your incorrect interpretation of a single fact-check post? You've brought it up at least 3 or 4 times.
It was a clownish take that was full of loser mentality from someone who's always quick to excuse anything with some good vibes only take as if it's straight from the Blackhawks PR team.
